Ripken Baseball is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Aberdeen, MD

Overview

The Marketing Manager will support the marketing department in daily execution of marketing strategy, content, fulfillment, partner management, and analytics. The role works closely with cross-functional departments including, but not limited to sales, operations, finance, partnerships, and business development. This is a remote position that will require up to 15% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, maintain, and update marketing content, including, but not limited to:
    • Website – www.RipkenBaseball.com
    • Short & long-form written content (press releases, articles, etc.)
    • Email (templates and marketing blasts)
    • Marketing materials & customer-facing documents
    • Graphics
    • Content Calendar
    • Signage
  • Assist with the strategy, execution and management of Ripken Baseball’s external marketing partners/vendors including, but not limited to:
    • Social Media
    • Public Relations
    • Design
    • Paid Digital
    • Additional Vendors – Technology, Registration, Printing, etc.
  • Play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and execution of product launches for a variety of businesses (events, e-commerce, partnerships, etc.)
  • Support execution and fulfillment of partnership marketing deliverables
  • Develop initiatives to drive leads with goal of growing Ripken Baseball’s audience
  • Support brand control through usage, consistency, and messaging
  • Travel to locations, conferences, and corporate office when required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience
  • Aptitude to develop and learn new skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work in fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication & collaboration with teammates
  • Approach tasks with creative eye and analytical mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred:

  • Copywriting
  • Adobe Suite Experience (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • CMS / Web Content Management Experience (Wordpress)
  • Basic HTML / CSS Experience
  • Marketing Automation Experience
