Job Functions:

  • Analyze issues and make repairs to maintain heavy construction equipment fleet primarily consisting of earth moving equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on mobile equipment safely.
  • Document detailed work activities in work orders
  • Able to drive a one ton or larger vehicle.
  • Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend repair manuals & equipment schematics.
  • Examine parts for damage and/or excessive wear.
  • Testing of repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiently.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on all types of equipment

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum 1-3 years of experience as a heavy equipment technician
  • Must be people-oriented with the ability to build business relationships.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets.
  • The ability to work independently and with indirect oversight.
  • Earthmoving & other construction equipment knowledge is necessary.
  • Compliance with all regulatory & company regulations and policies.
  • Must be able to work overtime weekly, as needed.
  • Must have basic set of tools needed to complete a variety of tasks.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
