About the role
We are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician to our growing Miner Maintenance Team. As a Miner Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting bitcoin miners. This position will directly support our Miner Maintenance Team at our Rockdale, TX location.
Essential Functions
- Perform Basic diagnostic techniques to all miners on site
- Perform Basic Repair techniques to all miners on site
- Assist in keeping inventory of Miners, parts and tools
- Find IP addresses of all new machines that are being installed into shelves.
- Provided complete information for work orders to be submitted to Supervisor.
- Keep the Miner repair room and Work area clean and Organized
- Craft new RJ-45 Connections
- Be confident when reciting terminology that is relevant in the industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to bring attention clearly and promptly to any major errors in the Data Center that involve the Miner Maintenance team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience
- Experience with Networking and Computer troubleshooting is preferred.
- Computer literacy is required.
- On the job training is provided
- Any Miner repair/Operator Certification is a plus
- Experience in networking is a plus
Schedule
- 12 hour shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as neede
