The W's Cottontail Lounge is looking for Door Hosts (Security)! Position starts at $18/hour but varies based on experience.

Summary of Position:

Security guards are responsible for greeting patrons, checking IDs, and keep venue safe.

Essential Functions:

Greeting patrons and checking IDs.
Providing security and safety, protecting bar patrons and staff.
Maintaining bar supplies, when needed.
Monitoring bar or club perimeter for safety concerns.
Assessing customer aggression or intoxication. Removing patrons when necessary.
Adheres to all RHG brand policies and procedures.
Works as a team player and actively contributes to the success of the bar/restaurant experience.
Other supportive functions as determined by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills – fluent in English language.
Works with a sense of urgency.
Performs well under pressure and stress.
Able to maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
Must have reliable transportation.
Physically fit and capable to fulfill job duties.
19 age requirement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 150 lbs.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Certificates or Licenses: Current Food Handler Card and/or Alcohol Certification requirements need to meet specific state laws. PSP certification required. Background check may be required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience in a high-volume bar/restaurant preferred
