Riot Hospitality Group is currently looking for our next great Beverage Director! We're searching for a candidate who can:
- Develop and implement creative and innovative beverage menus that complement our culinary offerings and cater to our diverse clientele.
- Curate an exceptional selection of spirits, cocktails, beers, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring a well-balanced and enticing beverage program.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock levels and quality standards while maximizing profitability.
- Review and monitor financial information and inventory to maintain appropriate beverage COGS across the organization.
- Train and mentor beverage staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold our company's standards of excellence.
- Develop and execute promotional events, tastings, and beverage-related initiatives to drive sales and enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor industry trends, staying updated on emerging products, techniques, and regulations, and incorporating relevant innovations into our beverage program.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of beverage offerings with overall operations and guest experiences.
- Travel to locations in all our markets to audit the beverage program and train staff, including training related to new location openings (up to 10% travel required)
We hope our perfect candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Beverage Director for a high-volume, upscale hospitality company.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and other beverages, including industry trends, production methods, and serving techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Google Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sommelier, Cicerone) a plus.
