This is a full time in-office position. There is no ability to work Hybrid or Remote.

SUMMARY: Demand Planner will be responsible for ordering materials, components, equipment, and services and managing vendors. This position will manage delivery of the materials, equipment, supplies and service to the manufacturing and business operations of the company. This position works closely with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering and Finance and reports to the VP of Finance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Works with Production and/or other personnel in order to coordinate material scheduling to provide on-time delivery to appropriate departments

· Coordinates material requirements with approved vendors on a daily/weekly basis.

· Monitors safety stock, EOQ’s and lead-times on all assigned product lines.

· Responsible for maintaining inventory levels consistent with the goals of the company.

· Works with Inventory Clerk to record product received in MRP Easy system.

· Coordinates and purchases all MRO requirements for production and maintenance department.

· Maintains key working relationships for raw materials, supplies and capital equipment.

· Work with vendors to maintain and/or improve services.

· Assess, manage, and mitigate risks; assist with cost and scenario analysis; identify cost saving opportunities.

· Review and update standard pricing in Bill of Materials and Purchase Orders in MRP Easy Inventory system.

· Participating in storeroom physical inventory

· Maintains weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly reports.

SKILLS NEEDED:

· 1-2 years experience ordering materials and parts in an ERP for a manufacturing company.

· Understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Materials and ability to update information

· Experience working with MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
