We are seeking a Kennel Attendant to join the Rio Gran team! Our facility offers boarding, daycare, and training services. By joining our team, you will be responsible for our luxurious facility's overall care and well-being of our four-legged friends.

We are seeking candidates with morning availability

*Previous animal care experience is preferred, but not required.*

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
• Keep records of animal feedings and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Supervise daycare playgroups
• Administer medications

Qualifications:

• Passion for animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
• Capable of safely handling large breed dogs
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid license and reliable vehicle

We care for dogs and cats 365 days a year. Weekends and Holidays are our busiest times. All shifts on major holidays will be compensated with time and a half. All candidates must be able to work at least 2 weekends a month.
