Rio Bravo International Services is a wholly own subsidiary of American Industries Group with over 30 years of experience providing import, exports, warehousing and freight forwarding solutions for the manufacturing and maquiladora industries in Mexico.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Move freight and or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading and unloading docks, or containers, by hand and foot controls
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Install protective devices, such as bracing padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Direct and position receptabels. Such as bins, carts, or containers, so they can be loaded
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines

Essential Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 6 months of warehousing and/or logistics experience
• Forklift certification required
• The ability to perform computations with reasonable speed and accuracy
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
