Pay Range: $12-14/hr depending on experience.

Day Care Center hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8-11am.

Staff are allowed to bring their own children to attend while working.

The Childcare Attendant is responsible for supervising and interacting with members’ children who are using the child care facility.

This person develops and maintains a positive, fun, and safe atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and hygienic environment in the childcare room
• Learn proper emergency procedures and follow as necessary
• Supervise and interact with children ages 6 weeks to 10 years
• Maintain child care room and equipment, including keeping toys clean and sanitary
• Keep accurate records and forms
• Be responsive to parents to fulfill their child care service needs
• Be able to work together as a team with all facility departments
• Report any unsafe conditions to the manager on duty
• Maintain a professional and good personal hygiene
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• The ideal candidate will have previous child care experience, be friendly, organized and be able to multi-task

Qualifications

Requirements

• Must be able to work daytime hours 8am to 11:00 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stand for several hours in a same shift
• Must have the ability to sit, climb, twist, bend, squat, crawl, push/pull and kneel
• Must have the ability to lift 25-50 pounds
