Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Job Role

Assists the Rental Operations Manager, Branch Supervisor(s), Fleet Operations Manager, Rental Support Representative(s) and Salespersons as directed to achieve company objectives and goals, promote customer and employee satisfaction and enhance overall sales and profits.

Supervises the daily rental operations of the Power Systems Rental Fleet. Supervises, tracks, and monitors the transfer(s) of all PSD Power & Temperature Control inventories in and out of branches.

Work with the Rental Operations Manager and Fleet Service Manager to assign generators to specific jobs and maintain fleet rotation to ensure proper revenue distribution. Work with Supervisors in assigning Rental Support Reps to specific projects; maintains a Rental Support Rep job assignment log.

Maintains vehicle registrations and permits and all operational permits such as CARB permits for generator fleet.

Assists Rental Operations Manager with inventory and required inventory audits. Spot checks Rental Warehouses/Bulk Inventory condition at each branch location. Spot check Rental product (cosmetic condition, mechanical functionality, safety concerns). Assist in high profile rental projects to ensure equipment is in peak cosmetic and mechanical condition.

Assist in the development and maintains proficiency with Google Doc, IRS and DBS functions. Participates in the development of a software or platform to fulfill Gate Log and Service/Turn Log functionality. Assists in implementing new software for Check In / Check Out of rental equipment.

Assist in universalizing processes and Standard Operating Procedures for Rental Support Reps across all three branches.

Report to management team to ensure that salesmen and supervisors hold customers accountable / recouping funds for lost or stolen rental items such as cable, tails, ladders, fuel, etc. Assists the Rental Sales Manager to see that Company financial goals and sales objectives are obtained.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Formal Education High School diploma or GED

Experience 1-2 years

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Computer skills required - Lotus Notes, Excel, Word & Power Point.

1 to 3 years of experience in Rental Operations of gen-sets, pumps, and air compressors.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

Bachelors Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements occasionally change requiring re-training to stay current every 3-5 years.
