Description :

Position Summary : The Cognito Warehouse Foreman will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, staff, and processes.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize warehouse procedures to meet company goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervision and Leadership

• Manage and lead a team of warehouse / fulfillment staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and communication among staff.

Operational Oversight

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.

Process Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Master warehouse management software to track and optimize workflows with the ability to seamlessly fill in for key positions to complete daily processes.

Quality Control

• Ensure all products are handled and stored properly to maintain quality and prevent damage.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for staff.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Equipment Maintenance

• Oversee the condition, proper operation and maintenance requests of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
• Coordinate repairs and servicing as needed with our Facilities Manager.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance and metrics to the Supply Chain manager.

Customer Service

• Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to warehouse operations.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment :

• This position involves regular exposure to a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.

Compensation details : 60000-70000 Yearly Salary
