Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and results-oriented Lead Recruiter with a proven track record who will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting. Within our team, the Lead Recruiter plays a pivotal role in sourcing and attracting culture enhancing top talent. As part of the People and Culture team, the Lead Recruiter provides collaborative, high-touch support to our hiring managers.
We are seeking someone with recruiting experience in the environmental consulting field. This role offers the flexibility to work from any of our 13 offices and the opportunity for a hybrid/remote work setup within California. Preferred Regions/Offices: Carlsbad, Fresno, Los Angeles, Monterey, Oakland, Palm Springs, Riverside, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs full-cycle recruiting, to include all aspects of the talent acquisition process: application and resume review, scheduling and/or conducting interviews, candidate tracking, and communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Partners with the Leadership team to design, build, and implement innovative recruitment strategies to proactively build and track passive and active talent pipelines of skilled and diverse candidates
  • Organizes kick-off meetings with the hiring team to understand their staffing needs, proactively providing recruitment guidance, applicable recruiting strategies, and best practice recommendations
  • Collaborates with internal staff to develop and promote diverse sourcing channels for active and passive talent, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives
  • Develops compelling and effective recruiting campaigns
  • Drives internship program by collaborating with hiring team to ensure positive experience
  • Coordinates with universities across California and participates in career fairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) 
This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Following:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of in-house/direct hire recruiting; experience within the environmental consulting field preferred
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • Personable, people-oriented, and has a proven track record of building candidate pipeline relationships
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and tech savvy
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Prior experience utilizing an ATS system (i.e. JazzHR)
  • Well versed in Boolean search strategies and other recruitment research tools
  • Demonstrated history of creating/improving/leading recruitment processes that improve department efficiency and the candidate experience

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$90,000, plus benefits and bonus. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
