Rincon Consultants is Hiring a Contracts Coordinator Near Various Locations, CA

Rincon Consultants is seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join our Corporate Legal team! This role will be responsible for assisting project managers with the effective execution of contracts, closely reviewing client contract requirements for flow through provisions, preparing and issuing subcontracts for execution, conducting negotiations, receiving and reviewing certificates of insurance against contract requirements, submitting documents to principals for review and signature, maintaining contract files, performing contract administration through the life of the agreement, corresponding with subcontractors for document updates as needed, maintaining a contract database for subcontract files, and performing RFIs, collecting and reporting data as it pertains to subcontractors. In addition to contract duties, may be requested to assist with document preparation, and various administrative duties in support of the legal department. This position allows you to work from any of our 13 office locations and provides the potential for a hybrid/remote work arrangement within California.Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process contracts and service orders
  • Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
  • Receive, review, and accurately enter customer/vendor data into internal systems
  • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of contract documentation and attachments; set-up new contracts; and general maintenance of active contracts
  • Negotiate and approve contract terms
  • Prepare and distribute information to appropriate employees regarding contract status
  • Interface with Rincon’s services lines and business operation teams and maintain communication for a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Write letters and other communications and notices
  • Coordinate and facilitate operational functions to align solutions with department goals
  • Provide administrative support to legal department team members with legal documents, including but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements and statements of works, vendor agreements, corporate records, correspondence, reports, and presentations
This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Following:
  • 2 years prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills
  • Possess superior attention to detail with ability to spot discrepancies in contracts
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with Rincon team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of contract law desired

The base salary range for this full-time position is $62,000-$75,000, plus benefits and bonus.
