• Conduct field surveys and archival research
• Prepare California Department of Parks and Recreation 523 forms
• Assist in developing historic evaluations for compliance with NEPA, Section 106 and CEQA
• Assist in the implementation of historic mitigation
• Work in multidisciplinary teams for successful project execution
• Other duties as required by cultural resources leaders 

• Currently enrolled in Master’s program in history, art history, public history or closely related field
• Strong research and writing skills
• Familiarity with CEQA and NEPA and Section 106 of the NHPA
• Experience or training conducting historic evaluations in accordance with national, state and local criteria
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills, and innovative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
