OVERVIEW: The Rimkus family of brands Senior Social Media Specialist drives social media strategy through impactful campaigns across diverse markets. This role is the architect of our social media presence across platforms worldwide. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand narrative; engaging our clients, current and future employees, and prospective clients; and fostering meaningful connections across industries. This position works collaboratively with multiple Marketing team members and reports directly to the Vice President, Marketing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Strategy Development:
    • Devise and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives and in support of multiple Rimkus initiatives.
    • Define KPIs.
    • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and platforms to ensure a forward-thinking and innovative approach to social media content.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Oversee the creation of compelling and shareable content that resonates with diverse global audiences through development of content and/or editing of existing/sourced content.
    • Manage Rimkus family of brands content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent delivery across various social media platforms, including a layered review process and collaboration with internal Marketing teams (website, design and production, etc.)
    • Curate user-generated content and collaborate with internal teams to showcase brand stories and highlight requested topics or events.
  • Platform Management:
    • Manage and optimize all social media platforms, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
    • Stay abreast of algorithm changes, updates, and best practices for each platform.
  • Brand Alignment:
    • Ensure a cohesive global brand image by aligning social media messaging with overall brand guidelines, Rimkus voice, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with Operations, BD, Marketing, Corporate Services, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee to adapt strategies for different regions.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Foster meaningful interactions with the audience through engaging content, comments, and discussions.
    • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions to enhance community engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Global Coordination:
    • Collaborate with regional teams to tailor social media strategies to specific cultural nuances and regional trends.
    • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all markets.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
  • 7 years of marketing experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing global social media accounts for a multinational brand.
  • Experience in creating social media strategies for multiple service streams.
  • Prior experience as a copywriter.
  • Prior experience as a content manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Digitally savvy with experience developing digital strategies, as well as defining, optimizing, and tracking marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, emerging trends, and analytics tools.
  • High level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, and executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic, and proactive organization.
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality content.
  • Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
  • Knowledge of best practices for SEO, display advertising, social media, and email marketing campaign strategies.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of MS CRM and D365 Marketing tool.

The Salary Range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
