POSITION OVERVIEW :

Riloh is looking for a candidate to lead our lighting assembly department.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working and creating things with their hands and that has basic mechanical knowledge of trade-specific tools relating to electrical and wiring. You’ll be using various hand and power tools to assemble components and fixtures.

While this is an entry level position, you will be given opportunities over time to grow within the company through advancements, raises, and bonuses. We are looking for an employee that will show initiative and will be willing to grow into a possible larger role with expanded duties down the road. We are willing to train and are really looking for someone with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

A background fabrication, or studio art is desirable, but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Learning Riloh's catalog of lighting fixtures and understanding assembly instructions.
• Maintain area of tools and equipment
• Communicate with internal departments, including Purchasing, Shipping, and Sales
• Notifying Supervisor of discrepancies between drawings and parts, as well as identifying raw parts with material issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Inspect fixtures for quality control before packing.
• Inspect to ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) is attained per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
• Able to read and understand units of measure.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs
• Excellent physical organization skills
• Excellent eye for attention to details
• Able to read and understand units of measure
• A team-oriented approach to meeting goals
• Ability to work on your feet for most of the day

TYPICAL WORK DAYS : Schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:15am - 4:15pm, Friday 7:15 - 1:30pm

BENEFITS:

Paid Time Off is paid by Riloh to regular full-time employees as follows :

1 -3 years of employment: (80) hours

4 years of employment: (120) hours

10 years of employment (160) hours

Paid Holidays:

Riloh provides all regular, full-time employees with paid days off from work to observe holidays. Employees are eligible immediately as holidays occur. Riloh will provide a list of holidays observed to each employee in each calendar year.

Health Insurance:

Riloh offers the following health insurance programs for employees who work over 30 hrs per week (as determined by the carrier of the policies). The terms are as follows :

Begins after the 90-day setup period. Riloh contributes $150.00 each month to the health insurance premium.
