- The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to ensure that the health and safety needs of the client are met
- The RN will also help ensure that the Rightway is in compliance with current regulations and standards of practice
- Must be able to relate professionally with the client and family members
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Perform nursing direct treatment and procedures
- Monitors and maintains client medical record, ensures appropriate assessments are completed timely, documentation is appropriate and the client has current care plans in place
- Ensures all physician orders are signed and implemented
- Maintains and monitors medication administration program
- Reports and interprets observations of client's behavior
- Must be a team player
- Perform duties as required or delegated
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Have a current board of nursing license in Minnesota and a valid driver's license
- Have excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic nursing skills
