Right Weigh Scale LLC is Hiring a Scale Technician Near Hayward, CA

Right Weigh Scale, located in the central East Bay city of Hayward, CA, is actively seeking a qualified individual for an introductory scale technician position. This job is great for anyone looking to learn a trade that is an essential part of everyday B2B operations and a part of an ever growing future when used with Automation and AI. We hope to find someone with familiarity in troubleshooting, HMI/PLC programming, Metrology and or prior experience working with electric and mechanical equipment.

Right Weigh Scale has been operating in Hayward since 2009. We serve the entire Northern California region. Our primary business is working with clients who use weighing equipment to perform everyday operations. We cover a number of industries types ranging from analytical applications to industrial operations. As a licensed Scale Service Agency for the State of California we also serve our community protecting consumer fairness.

Job Description:

As a calibration company scale technicians must be able to lift test weights and perform physical activities to service weighing devices. Walking, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting are all required to perform daily tasks. It is also required that the person who is hired demonstrates a basic knowledge of working with basic tools of the trade. Job scope includes, troubleshooting electric and mechanical equipment, programming, weight adjustments and certification. Position requires that any individual not experienced with calibration or scales, to pass a 90 day internship to qualify for scale technician position. Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills, knowledge of State and National conformance for weighing applications, and have basic understanding of company work flow. Must work well with others as well as prove to work independently with little supervision. Having basic knowledge of hand and power tools as well as how to use smart phone/tablet/computer. You will need to be licensed and certified by Right Weigh Scale and within the State of California prior to any field work.

Applicant Requirements:

Pass physical-Job routinely requires individual to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.

Valid Drivers License

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
