Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help patients with mobility by transferring, positioning, and transporting them as needed.
- Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
- Assist with feeding patients and ensure they receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an approved State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program.
- Current certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
