Right at Home In-Home Care & Assistance is seeking to hire skilled and experienced Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants to join our team to serve our elderly clients in the Staten Island, New York area. When joining our dynamic care team, you are able to provide clinical expertise in home care and allow people to stay in the comfort of their own homes longer! Pay: $18.55-$20.00 per hour
Shifts Available: Days, nights, and weekends. Our shifts can range from 4 to 12 hours
long.
Job Type: Part Time or Full Time
Expected Hours: 20-40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patient’s residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to the doctor’s office or to the hospital
- Assist with client’s personal care activities
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Maintain patient’s care records and document provided services
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
- Have familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Have proper nursing and health care administration skills
Requirements
- A Valid (NYS) HHA Certifications or PCA Certification
- A Physical within the past 9 months
- PPD within the past 9 months or chest x-ray within 5 years
- Proof of MMR Immunization
- Drug Screen
- Valid ID and Social Security Card
- Warmth, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, an upbeat and confident personality, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
