Right at Home provides in-home care for seniors and disabled adults. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
The company is based in Waldorf, Maryland. We seek a creative, passionate, and enthusiastic Staffing Coordinator to ensure that all referrals are received in an accurate, detailed manner and are properly handled.
Perform various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, timecard processing and other payroll responsibilities as needed and other office coordination duties.
Essential Functions
Answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages using good telephone technique.
Receives referrals and inquiries on the programs of this company.
Assists with interviews, screening and testing of all applicants.
Schedules and coordinates day to day activities of caregivers.
Assists with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, etc.
Performs payroll duties including verifying time sheets, and computer input of time sheet changes for payroll processing.
Maintains documentation of associate work record and ensures current and complete personnel records for all homecare associates.
Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
Responds promptly and courteously to all clients' calls.
Performs on-call coordinator duties as needed.
Assists with sales, marketing, and public relations efforts.
Educational Requirements
Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of common medical terminology
SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Be a team player with a strong work ethic that takes ownership of their job
Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
PREFERRED :
2-year degree in Human Resources or related field OR minimum of 2 years experience in a HIGH VOLUME work environment.
2 years staffing experience
Personal care experience (CNA, HHA, GNA, PCA)
HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
