Responsibilities
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents.
Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
Help with mobility
Plan and prepare meals
Assist clients with errands including outings, grocery shopping, etc.
Perform light housekeeping duties
Report any changes in condition / Advocate for clients
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Provide safety supervision
Qualifications
18 or Older
Ability to submit to and pass drug screen and criminal background check
Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Availability to work different shifts
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment *preferred but not required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and car insurance and / or reliable transportation
Take pride in providing high quality care
