Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking reliable and coachable Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join our dynamic team serving our clients in Volusia County, making a significant difference in the comfort of our client's homes.

We have immediate part time and full time caregiver/HHA positions available

Expected Hours: 20-40 hours per week

Shift Needs:

  • Days and Evenings
  • Weekdays

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
  • Ambulation/Transfers
  • Eating
  • Dressing/Shaving
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to):

  • Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors
  • Doing dishes
  • Changing bed linens, doing laundry
  • Cleaning bathroom
  • Assist the client with problem solving and supportive activities (which could include but are not limited to):
  • Medication reminders
  • Encouraging exercises
  • Cooking meals
  • Understanding dementia care
  • Companionship

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Must have a current CPR certificate
  • Eligible status on Level II Fingerprint background in Health Care
  • One year of experience is preferred as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • The ability to pass a personal care written and competency exam

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
