Responsibilities and Duties
In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to) :
- Companion care
- Homemaker services such as housekeeping and preparing meals
- Accompanying client and providing transportation for errands or medical appointments
- Personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence care, etc.
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Medication and physical therapy exercise reminders
- Specialized Alzheimer's and Dementia care
Schedule Weekly / Every Other Weekend
- 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm
- 4 : 30 pm - 6 : 30 pm
- 5 : 30 pm - 9 : 30 pm
- 9 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am
Qualifications and Skills :
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Must be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and your own vehicle
- Pass a background check
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
- Working every other weekend required
