Job Description:

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you may be required to:

• Perform Anesthesia services in accordance with industrial best practices
• Provide pre-operative evaluations and patient preparation
• Provide regional anesthesia to include spinal, epidural, bier block, axillary block, interscalene block, and other regional blocks
• Provide monitoring of patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery including managing fluid therapy
• Shall respond to patient responses with appropriate anesthesia care
• Provide pain intervention care or respond to emergency situations within the Medical Treatment Facility
• Provide post-operative evaluations of the patients
• Complete all required documentation utilizing facility information systems
• Participate in Anesthesia Service Quality Improvement/Assurance programs

Basic Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Graduate from an accredited Master’s or Doctor of Science in Nursing Degree – Anesthesia Program
• Possess current board certification as a CRNA by NBCRNA
• 1 years’ experience actively practicing as a full-time CRNA during the last year
• Active DEA Certification
• Active BLS and ACLS Certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a civilian contractor for a Government Facility
