Ridgewood Rehabilitation Care Center is Hiring a Nurse (LPN or RN) - Nights Near Seward, NE

Dignity in Life is our mission, now ask us about our vision! Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Care Center has several visions that make us one of the best places to work, certified. Currently we are looking for a night nurse to help us provide quality care to our residents. A qualified nurse will have an active Nebraska nursing license (LPN or RN) and an active CPR certification. Generous shift differentials available for a 12-hour night shift (Up to $8.50/hr).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality nursing services to meet physical, psychological, spiritual, and restorative needs of residents.
  • Create and maintain an outstanding facility for residents.
  • Maintain and follow established safety rules and precautions.
  • Must participate in continuing education in-services and meetings (helps maintain your license).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Pass a physical exam.
  • Lift, push, pull and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Be able to life up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
  • Bend, stoop and twist almost constantly throughout the day.
  • See and hear well enough to take blood pressure, chart, read thermometers, etc.
  • Remain active and on their feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.
