Registered Nurse qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid state license and CPR certification.
Strong clinical skills and ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Ridgeway Post Acute is looking for someone who is passionate about the elderly and can be responsible for the daily care of our residents. This includes administering medication, giving shots, hanging IVs, updating patient records, providing emotional support, patient/ family/ staff education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures.
The primary purpose of this position is to direct the day to day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.
Always welcoming part-time/on-call nurses to our team. Great way to supplement income.
Long term care experience is plus.
