We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as our Trauma Therapist Leads Women's Healing Journey (Outpatient Program)
You're a leader, a therapist, and a champion for women's healing. In this role, you will be responsible for providing ethically sound, evidence-based treatment in the field of mental health within the Outpatient Program. The primary population to be served are women who are survivors of trauma. The therapist candidate will support the patients in the Women’s Program focus on processing events and emotions that are related to their individual traumatic experiences. The therapist will report to the Director of Outpatient Services.

Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in the city of Smyrna, GA on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ridgeview Institute provides a safe, caring environment with Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Activity Therapists and Mental Health Technicians. Treatment services include inpatient and outpatient services and aftercare.

Education: Master’s Degree specializing in social work or a clinical related mental health area, orequivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Licensure: Current LPC, LPCP, LSW, LCSW, LMFT issued by the State of Georgia.
Additional Requirements: Completion Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days of employment. Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission and CMS standards for patient care related to treatment care planning, discharge planning, psycho-socials and patient care. OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements.
