We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dietary Aide!

The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following: assisting with preparing the salad bar, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, assisting the cook as required and stocking kitchen necessities on each cottages required.

• Uses proper food handling processes, procedures, and policies
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on cottages 
• Delivers and serves meals and beverages to patients/residents in the dining area.
• Ensure meals are appealing, appetizing, and nutritionally sound.
• Work on tray line or in dining rooms serving meals to residents.
• Assists with food storage according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards as defined by facility policy and procedure while in the kitchen's prep areas and dish room.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Must have prior experience in food service, and have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation.

Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
