RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a part-time Chief Safety Officer. The schedule is negotiable and will be all weekday business hours. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in facility management, safety, social services, or a related field required. Three years safety experience preferred; preference given to individuals whose experience is in a healthcare facility; knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), Life Safety Code/Statement of Conditions, OSHA/TOSHA, Environment of Care Program, and facility licensure standards. Requires excellent computer skills/aptitude including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities include meeting The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements for the Environment of Care/Statement of Conditions and Life Safety Code; conduct safety inspections; licensure requirements; provide and document annual staff and new hire safety training; and assuring compliance with all state, federal and regulatory requirements as they pertain to Ridgeview’s safety and security programs and ECO standards.
