Ride North is looking for a motivated Service Writer/Advisor to assist in our busy Service department. Service writer/ Parts person that initiates services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested.Service Writers/ Advisors verify warranty and service contract coverage; develop estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer rapport and records. Watching for any additional work on current customers units, and anticipating/advising customers to come in for work.

• Sell parts, accessories, or clothing to customers calling or walking into the store.
• Fill parts requests for the service techs.
• Help maintain the service techs repair schedules and calendars. Maintain product delivery boards.
• Participate in rolling inventory checks.
• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Respond promptly to customer needs.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Respond to requests for service and assistance.
• Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; respond well to questions.
• Follow all company and vendor policies and procedures
• Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage competing demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
