General Manager (GM) for a Harley-Davidson or Indian Motorcycle Dealership

Ride Free Powersports dealerships are local, family owned and located in North Texas selling either New Harley-Davidson or Indian Motorcycles

Summary Description

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the dealership. Maximizes the opportunity for sales and dealership profit. Ensures superb customer service at all times. Manages employees and operations of the sales department as the Sales Manager. Ensures the dealership is always in a clean, professional state. Assists managers when necessary.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

· MANAGEMENT

Reliable point-of-contactfor all facets of dealership operation.

· SALES MANAGEMENT

Desking, Closing, Training in Bike Sales and Lead the Sales and F&I Team

Hire, train, and enforce Sales Team knowledge and daily implementation of Sales Process.

· CUSTOMER SERVICE

Greets customersin a courteous and friendly manner.

Cultivates a symbiotic environment in which customers feel appreciated and wanted.

Resolves complaintsthat department managers are unable to rectify, with empathy and a positive attitude.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES

Lead and direct Ride Free’s policies, procedures, and processes for a multi-faceted dealership.

Manages recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and termination of staff.

Conducts performance reviewson a regular basis for direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of Harley-Davidson or Indian Motorcycles required
  • Two years or more of progressive General Management and/or Sales Management of motorcycle or automotive management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and managerial aspects of a multi-million dollar business
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, manage, and retain quality employees
  • Experience with Dealer Management System software and CRM preferred
  • Have a valid motorcycle endorsement preferred
  • Great attitude plus great results are essential!
