Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs will be crucial in providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, such as engine problems, transmission issues, and brake malfunctions

- Conduct automotive diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex problems

- Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire wear

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on each vehicle

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repair options in a clear and professional manner

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology advancements and industry trends

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role

- Must have solid understanding of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues

- Must be able to travel out of state at companies expense for continuing education

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive problems

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong knowledge of auto estimating software is a plus/but not required

- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Pay: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
