This key position will support our pattern of growth by keeping our equipment running smoothly and minimizing time spent on repairs. Our company provides protective coatings for a variety of industry products, industrial components, and more.
· Maintain, repair, and clean specialized PVD coating, CVD coating, heat-treating, and related support equipment.
· Apply Experience, including industrial electric(low voltage DC, up to three-phase 600-volt AC equipment), pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, welding, plumbing, and more to repair our specialized equipment and facilities!
· Observe signs of wear on equipment and make recommendations for upcoming maintenance/repair needs.
· Troubleshoot and problem-solve repairs on our machinery & facilities.
· Follow and comply with established safety, quality, and work practices and procedures.
Our Ideal Industrial Maintenance Technician
· Experienced: 5 years of Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
· Problem Solver: Loves the challenge of identifying the problem and uncovering the solution.
· Inquisitive: Unafraid to ask questions, desires to learn, and willing to experiment
· Effective Communicator: Our Maintenance Tech will work closely with equipment operators, production schedulers, facility managers, facility engineer, other essential personnel.
· Persistent: Our specialized equipment will take time to learn. Some equipment issues will be challenging to fix. You need the tenacity to keep moving forward.
· Mechanical: Background in working on equipment, machinery, engines, etc., with experience with industrial electric, schematics, pnuematic, hydraulic, & mechanical systems is required.
· Welding: Experience with leak-free welding of stainless steels, the ability to read blueprints, and measure with dial calipers/micrometers is also required.
· Preventative Maintenance: Ability to create and monitor a PM schedule.
· Understanding: Ladder logic & PLC languages, is a plus.
· Must be willing to provide your own hand tools and toolbox.
· Drive to Learn: Learning new equipment and experiencing new challenges.
