Richstone Marble & Granite LLC is Hiring a Measure Technician Near Chantilly, VA
Richstone Marble and Granite Granite is looking to hire a responsible and motivated individual with good attention to detail and a desire to grow with the company!
A Digital Measure Technician will be responsible for field measuring areas for stone Kitchen and Bath countertops with the FlexiJet laser measuring machine. Some level of finishing drawings in AutoCad will be expected. Training for the measurement equipment will be provided but some experience with LT2D/3D or other laser measurement device required.
Responsibilities
- Driving to the job site and measuring countertops with digital template machine
- Communicating with customers on the job site and verifying countertop design details and dimensions.
- Arrive at scheduled template appointments on time.
- Must have knowledge of technical drawings and project specifications, including material selection and project details.
- Finishing AutoCad drawing based on FlexiJet scans on Autocad (this is a must have). Adding overhangs and needed increases for stone thickness etc. required before sending drawings to programming department.
- Work and communicate well with clients, contractors shop personnel, installation crews, and Sales/Design Consultants.
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance and up-keep. As well as for proper computer/tablet software updates / maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Know how to read cabinet layout
- Must be fluent in English and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or have work permit with valid driver’s license
- Understanding of granite, marble, and other natural stones, as well as quartz products
- Must communicate well through email and phone correspondence with customers and personnel daily

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
Monthly bonus for minimizing errors, saving material and not making errors.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays (only when needed)
- AutoCAD / AllenCAD: Some experience required
- Measuring Countertops with Laser: 2 years (Preferred)
- 2 years experience in construction, kitchen design/remodeling, or with a countertop company
- Driver’s License (Required)
