Richmond Waldorf School is Hiring an Enrollment and Marketing Administrator Near Richmond, VA

The Enrollment and Marketing Administrator is the point of contact and facilitator of the enrollment process with prospective families from inquiry to enrollment. They work with leadership to establish and carry out enrollment and marketing objectives. This person is an integral member of the administrative team supporting and managing many different work streams. They interface with all members of the RWS community (faculty, staff, parents, students, alumni, board) through events, committees, and other responsibilities. They have a deep understanding of the school and an interest in Waldorf education in order to attract and retain mission-aligned families.

Essential Functions:

Enrollment:

  • Facilitate admissions from inquiry to enrollment, with lens of Waldorf education, RWS mission, and DEIJ principles
  • Provide tours and information sessions to prospective families.
  • Manages multiple digital platforms for admissions and enrollment (Ravenna, TADS, Blackbaud, Google office suite)
  • Maintain reporting dashboard to track statistics and review data on a regular basis
  • Support retention of students by hosting events, coordinating with other committee members
  • Develops budget and ensures spending is within budget
  • Participate in Financial Aid administration and notification
  • Manage re-enrollment process
  • Manage onboarding/orientation of new families
  • Work with the Director of Administration to establish tuition rates, financial aid policies/procedures, and strategic enrollment management
  • Collaborate with faculty to facilitate new student admissions
  • Manage other program enrollment and coordinate with other colleagues to facilitate registration
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents and respond to parent concerns/questions
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with colleagues
  • Engage in on-going professional and personal growth
  • Fulfill other duties, as assigned, relative to the job responsibilities

Marketing:

  • Establish/Review marketing objectives annually and work towards these goals on an ongoing basis
  • Develop marketing events in collaboration with administration
  • Support and plan other external facing events
  • Determine and implement advertising for school in collaboration with administration
  • Create marketing materials in collaboration with external partners
  • Use Canva to create materials, use WordPress and photo/video editors for content creation
  • Create and edit social media posts, blog posts
  • Manage google listing, private school review sites
  • Collect contact information and develop relationships with alums to better understand their transition, and to develop ambassadors for RWS

Experience

Required:

  • 3 years experience working in an enrollment management or coordinator position

Preferred:

  • Marketing experience in a school setting
  • Enrollment experience in a school setting
  • Understanding of and/or willingness to learn about Waldorf education

Compensation and Benefits

The salary rate for this regular, full-time, exempt position is $42,000 to $54,000 per year, depending on exact experience and qualifications. This is a 12-month school year position beginning on or around July 1, 2024 (could start earlier, closer to mid-June) and expected to end on or around June 30, 2024. RWS offers the following benefits to full-time staff:

  • 90% Tuition remission for dependent child/ren enrolled at RWS
  • 80 hours Paid Time Off (PTO) per year
  • Free Aftercare for dependent children during scheduled work hours (children must also be enrolled in a school program.)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Certification in Waldorf Education or the willingness to commit to
  • 5 years of teaching experience
  • Supervisory experience in a school setting

Preferred

  • The preferred candidate will have a background working in Waldorf Education and demonstrated leadership experience as it relates to curriculum, student assessment, faculty evaluation and professional development, community building and engagement, facilitation and problem resolution. The Director of Education will be expected not only to be enthusiastically accessible to students, staff, and the parental community, but also be a compelling advocate for Waldorf education to the greater Richmond community.
