Richman Property Services is Hiring an Asset Management Associate Near Greenwich, CT

The Asset Management Associate will work out of our Corporate Headquarters located in Greenwich, CT. The hours for the position are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break daily.

Summary: Supports the daily management of financial performance and operations of the assigned area by recommending, developing, and implementing operational improvement (“turnaround”) strategies at key properties in partnership with the property management company. This role will often serve as the liaison between Asset Management and Property Management, supervising the entire lifecycle of several ongoing initiatives, simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Travel (interstate) to relevant sites to oversee the implementation, and report on the progress, of asset management initiatives.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance (quantitative and qualitative) to develop and implement operational improvement strategies for key properties.
  • Act as the liaison between the Asset Management and Property Management teams, supervising the entire lifecycle of multiple ongoing initiatives simultaneously.
  • Compile various financial reporting deliverables in Excel for use in management decisions.

Education: bachelor’s with a focus on finance and/or economics.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Willingness to travel, as required.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of multi-family and commercial property management.
  • Working knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs, and Fair Housing Laws.
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize.
