Essential Functions

• Greets and checks in Delivery Drivers, then directs them to correct Dock.
• Inspection of inbound trailers, tankers and rail cars, check temperature, trailer number and seal numbers.
• Bulk Receiving which includes the connection and detachment of rail cars and tankers.
• Verify all shipments (trailers, tankers and rail cars) have the required paperwork, seals, QA approved sample before receiving.
• Receives Purchase Orders/print labels.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, suppliers and procurement team.
• Verify shipments for accuracy, recording any shortages and overages.
• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Must understand allergen controls and separation according to company policy.
• Scan and file all shipment & receiving paperwork and upload to shared drive.
• Request/Cancel drivers as needed with shuttle company.
• Inspection of all Outbound load; Check trailer number, temperature, fuel, and seal numbers VS BOLS and destination based on Finish Good material.
• Ability to operate a Forklift and pass all training tests.
• Prints Bills of Lading/TOs.
• Schedules Inbound Shipments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead, Supervisor or Manager.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience with Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the food industry and knowledge of GMP’s preferred.
• Experience with ERP Software preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft office (words, excel, outlook)
• High School diploma or equivalent

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.
