We are seeking a FT Direct Support Professional to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning. This position is Monday through Friday, 3pm to 9pm (working with women).DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by: Assisting with participation and exploration of the communityCultivating and expanding independent living skillsAssisting with development of meaningful and personal relationshipsImplementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals Some lift and transfer may be required. Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!
