Purpose

· Overseeing the sales operations of Pampillonia, ensuring exceptional client service, achieving sales targets, executing all sales processes, and managing the sales team. Responsible for creating a positive and professional shopping experience for clients while maximizing sales and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Management

· Ensure all sales processes are followed by staff, including stock, custom, and repair sales.

· Respond to client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.

· Ensure the sales team is clientele through the processes developed by Pampillonia.

· Ensure the sales team is utilizing tools including their calendar, Podium, email, POS prompts Acuity, and Teams.

· Manage staff to achieve or exceed their sales goals.

· Collaborate and assist staff in making every sale to contribute to the overall success.

· Assist clients in their jewelry selection and provide product knowledge when necessary.

· Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.

· Ensure staff responds to clients in a timely manner, via podium, email, and text in the Pampillonia Way.

· Execute all software processes (POS, Signature Series, CRM).

· Execute all job processes through all departments.

Staff Management

· Recruit, train and supervise staff, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge and selling skills.

· Schedule staff shifts and manage staffing levels to optimize showroom operations.

· Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.

· Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary.

· Look for opportunities to assist the sales team in personal career development: training courses, networking opportunities etc.

· Coach and mentor staff to optimize productivity.

Report Management

· Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including anniversaries and birthdays, money held, layaway and jobs lists.

· Monitor sales performance by category (stock, custom, repair).

· Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance by individual sales consultant.

· Monitor and control store expenses within the allocated budget.

· Held accountable for total sales revenue by category and sales performance including individual performance.

Client Experience

· Create a welcoming and friendly environment to provide a superior client experience.

· Greet all clients as they walk through our door and understand their needs.

· Train and guide sales consultants on delivering exceptional client service.

· Handle complex client inquiries and requests.

· Resolve client complaints or issues to ensure client satisfaction.

· Assist in offering beverages, answering phones, cleaning jewelry and deliveries to clients when requested.

Showroom Management

· Work the showroom schedule, Tuesday through Saturday.

· Arrive to work before the sales team to execute and complete all daily opening and closing procedures. If the Sales Manager is not present, this responsibility is passed to the Service Manager.

· Manage all showroom operations and delegate sales team responsibilities including glass, cases, removing trash, vacuuming, and client restrooms etc.

· Record daily traffic for the marketing team.

· Manage sales supplies including packaging inventory, gift wrap, showroom supplies and client beverages.

· Ensure all safety procedures are followed.

Visual Merchandising

· Execute the visual merchandising plan.

· Maintain a clean and organized case line.

· Update iPads when merchandising is changed.

· Ensure iPads are being used daily when putting jewelry into cases.

Experience and Attributes:

· Proven experience as a sales manager or similar role, preferably in the jewelry industry.

· Strong knowledge of jewelry products, including diamonds, gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship preferred.

· Excellent sales, customer service and negotiation skills.

· Leadership abilities with a focus on team building and selling.

· Strong organizational and time management abilities.

· Proficient in Excel, inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.

· Financial acumen and the ability to analyze sales and financial data.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

· 13 PTO days a year, 6 additional paid Holidays (no PTO in December)

· Health and Life Insurance benefits after 60 days.

· Salary starts at $70K depending on level of experience.
