Richardson Plowden is Hiring an Associate Attorney (Myrtle Beach, SC) Near Myrtle Beach, SC

Richardson, Plowden & Robinson, P. A. is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle government defense, law enforcement defense, Tort Claims Act, civil defense, and personal injury cases. Candidates must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and have the ability to work independently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs
  • Legal research
  • Communicating with clients and opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
  • Managing a diversified case load from beginning to end
  • Providing timely reporting
  • Working closely with other attorneys at depositions and various court appearances

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in civil litigation defense
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and caseload
  • Familiarity with Westlaw
  • Experience with i-Manage and Juris Suite a plus
