RICHARDS is Hiring a Carpenter Near Terryville, CT
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Experienced in interior work - metal stud/drywall, modular office panels, interior demolition
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Previous experience as a professional carpenter
- Must have an understanding of basic math, architectural measurements & dimensions, grades & elevations, and commonly accepted means & methods of concrete formwork carpentry
- Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints, and to follow layout provided for the proposed work
- Should be skilled with & be able to safely operate/use all carpentry tools including tape measure, rotary laser, string line, circular saw, levels, hammer & nails, chalk line, rotary hammer, square, etc.
