Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is currently seeking a Manufacturing Assistant in Vernon Hills, IL. The Manufacturing Assistant will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative and clerical assistance to the Optics Department.

Serves as the liaison between Repair Customer Service and the Optics Department.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• M aintains accurate record keeping and system entries.
• Calculates, tracks, and archives Optics department Metrics / KPIs.
• Communicates with Repair Customer Service and Customer Service.
• Communicates with multiple departments internally.
• Maintains files of equipment maintenance and certification.
• Handles consumables supply and expiration tracking.
• Processes repair and product orders in SAP.
• Creates and maintains purchase requisitions as they pertain to the department.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Aware of and comply with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type / position.
• Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned by Production Manager - Optics.

QUALIFICATIONS :

ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of clerical experience preferred
• Intermediate skills in MS Office suite of products with an ability to learn production-specific programs and software (e.g. SAP / FastPro).
• Strong verbal and written skills communications skills
• Time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.

• Lift / Carry 25 pounds
• Bend / Stoop / Kneel 4 hours per day
• Stand / Sit / Walk 8 hours per day
• Push / pull 50 pounds
