Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and seamless appearance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Apply joint compound and tape to seams between drywall panels
- Smooth out imperfections and ensure a seamless finish
- Sand surfaces to create a smooth texture
- Repair damaged drywall by patching or replacing sections
- Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials
