Position Summary
The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the George R. Brown School of Engineering has an open Digital Health Research Engineer position. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and release of cloud-based mobile software applications for digital health applications. The job responsibilities will span various stages of research projects, from conception to implementation, and involve employing cutting-edge technologies to address challenges in digital health research with clinical partners. The role demands a strong foundation in mobile application development, adaptability, and a passion for contributing to groundbreaking discoveries.
This position will be a part of the Rice Digital Health Initiative (dhi.rice.edu), which is a cross-disciplinary initiative in the School of Engineering dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes using novel digital health technologies. The faculty in digital health initiatives work closely with nearly all clinical specialties, creating technologies that impact many healthcare needs.
This position is hiring at a starting salary between $83,400 and $106,400 per year and entails work on Rice University’s campus, with the potential for some remote work/flexible work arrangements.
