West Palm Beach's favorite childrens creative center in town is expanding and needs a Activity Instructor!

Activity Instructor's are eager to promote knowledge, skills and appreciation of visual arts and music among our students. In this position, you will be required to craft and present lessons, develop teaching material and communicate with families. Must demonstrate flexibility and support as you help students to develop confidence in their art skills and knowledge.

Duties

- Plan and lead engaging activities for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote learning and development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized activity area
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children under your supervision
- Provide guidance and support to children during activities
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social skills development
- Collaborate with other activity leaders to create a cohesive program

Requirements

- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Special education background or experience working with children with special needs is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for educating and engaging children in meaningful activities
