Rhubarb is a chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville serving modern Appalachian cuisine with genuine hospitality. What does that mean? That at Rhubarb, we believe in people-first hospitality from our employees to our farm partners to our guests. We are hiring a Pastry Prep Cook / Baker, but the person will always come before the role.
The Person
As a Bread Baker at Rhubarb, you champion Southern foodways with modern sensibilities. You believe that the whole process is important when it comes to dining: from sourcing our produce and proteins locally and farm-direct, to whole animal usage and sustainability, to working as a team to execute a consistent experience for our guests. You are an autonomous person but enjoy working in a small team.
