The Data Analyst is a grant funded position which reports to the Executive Director for Institutional Effectiveness Planning (IEP) in collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment Management & Student Affairs (VPEMSA). The Data Analysist will support Title III initiatives through the collection, tracking, analysis, evaluation and visualization of data for decision-making and reporting grant project goals. The Data Analyst will work as part of the Rhodes State College Institutional Research (IR) team to develop and maintain data dashboards/visualizations, assist with data requests related to federal reporting requirements (as needed), and create other data-informed materials which augment the availability, accessibility, use of resources.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Specific duties and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to: Serve as a member of the Title III Grant core team, including attending regular meetings and providing data for grant activities; Develop, maintain, and interpret internal and external data dashboards and other data visualizations related to project activities;Coordinate the gathering and analysis of data for the purposes of grant reporting and compliance;Update, verify, and manage data from multiple databases; Create and launch professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to request, interpret, and utilize institutional data;Create reports related to Title III that summarize data using clear and concise charts and tables; Maintain a secure data environment, and ensure confidentiality of information secured and controlled by Institutional Research;Perform other duties as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, social sciences, or related field.
