Jersey Mike's is looking for team members to join our team! Team Members at Jersey Mike's Subs need to be highly motivated, friendly, and put customer service above all else. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with heavy demands, especially during the restaurant's busy rush hours.

Successful team members will build relationships interacting with customers while working the front line, preparing sandwiches both on the slicer and grill. A Jersey Mike's restaurant food server enjoys working with a sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment with a positive work atmosphere. Furthermore, the restaurant food server embraces and strives to keep their restaurant clean and presentable for every patron we serve. The primary requirements of a Jersey Mike's crew member are a commitment to our company's goals:

Restaurant Food Server's Responsibilities:

• Maintain a fast speed of food service, especially during rush times
• Take orders from customers and input their selections into the restaurant's computer systems
• Assemble orders in a timely organized fashion for serving
• Process large orders for catering and other food service events
• Clean your restaurant station thoroughly before, during and after each shift
• Serve restaurant's customers with the highest quality service to insure their complete satisfaction
• Follow all restaurant safety and security procedures

Restaurant Food Server Requirements/Skills:

• Positive attitude
• Teachable and eager to learn new skills
• Genuinely enjoys interacting with other people
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time
• Strong customer service skills
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs.

Qualifications

To land this awesome opportunity you must have high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years restaurant management experience. In addition, we just ask that you are organized, complete our awesome training program, possess basic math skills and be food safety certified.
