Merchandise Sales Associates are responsible for assisting guests and managing merchandise sales at their assigned merchandise stands. These staff members will report directly to the Merchandise Manager.

Responsibilities of the Merchandise Sales Associates will include:
 
 • Address all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. 

• Take customer orders and assemble them correctly. 
 • Complete Merchandise Stand set-up and closing procedures.
 • Ensure that all workstations and storage areas remain clean and sufficiently stocked. 
 • Check all merchandise to ensure that quality standards are met.

• Keep assigned areas neat, clean, and organized.

• Restock merchandise displays as needed to ensure that products are always readily available and visible to patrons.

• Provide product knowledge and answer customer inquiries relating to team apparel and other items. 

• Promote sales and point of sale items to maximum merchandise sales during events.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking and ordering needs to the Merchandise Manager.

• Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined by the Merchandise Manager.

• Act as a brand ambassador for RIFC, exemplifying a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Merchandise Manager.
 
 Qualifications
 • Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be an effective communicator with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
 • Must be able to interact with co-workers in a professional and respectful manner 
 • Must be able to manage inventory in an organized fashion 
 • Must be able to work in an open aired environment in all climate conditions
 • Must be available to work nights and weekends 
 • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
